It's the only thing that I can remember...And that gruesome image... MARIA!! Who am I, and why can't I remember anything? And who is this Maria? Look how pathetic they are, I don't have time for these humans..." Black Doom: "Shadow...Shadow, as you can see, the day of reckoning will soon be here. Find the seven Chaos Emeralds and bring them to me as promised!" Shadow: "Who are you and how do you know me? And what are you talking about? Just what was that all about? If he says he knows the truth to who I am, then like it or not I'm going to have to believe him. The only why I'm going to get the secrets from my past is to get those Chaos Emeralds."
