Woot woot. ^^ One of the biggest reasons I play this type of music is because these composers all live under the shadow of Uematsu-san, and even his music is underexposed (that is, if you don't live in Japan, where the entire population takes off work on the release days of Final Fantasys, credits to FishPhoenix). Aside from that, these games date back decades, and the entirety of this world of music is treasure just waiting to be discovered. I'm afraid that with the lack of exposure these songs get, they will become lost to the passage of time, so I am trying (even though I by myself may not make much of a difference) to keep this amazing music alive, by touching your hearts. On a much lighter note, this song is fucking amazing. I first heard it.. I'd say exactly a year ago, so it's pretty coincidental that I'm recording it now.
