jatirpi ::: Favorites I use to do the same to my tri-color collie, and his hair grew back but it was nasty hair. It was not soft no more, and parts of it were a very dull color whereas before it was shiny and soft. People use to make fun of the way my dog looked shaved LOL. bjelkier ::: Favorites Cirrus, our samoyed, is such a sweetheart. He is a 19 month old, 71 pound teddy bear! He still wants to be a lap dog. Our male collie, Mac, and Cirrus get along. The first time in this household. Our previous samoyed, Nimbus, ruled with an iron paw and used Mac as his whipping boy. My husband is a pilot so that is where Cirrus, Nimbus (cloud formations) and McCauley (brand of propeller) originated. bjelkier ::: Favorites I have never done that to Shadow and Mac. We live in Texas but they are house dogs. We did that to our first samoyed, Bear. He was embarrassed. Also, I found out if you cut the samoyed's hair, they can get sunburned. So I will never do that again. I will just brush them. Chico is cute with the cut, but I like the long hair. His fur is still short, we cut him 2-3 weeks ago, but yes we will let it grow back. :) Some people say the fur will be ugly when it grows back, we heard that after we had cut him, so I hope it will be the same when it grows back. :/ 07-05-13 12:23:52 __________________________________________________
