She was correct in that respect, however, the UN made what Bush did possible. Most supported Bush's policy because of the UN resolutions, resolutions that were likely pushed by Clinton. The solution to the Iraq situation is non-interventionism, and the UN is a corrupt interventionist organization, hence it's utter failure. Disband the thing now or face future wars.

Switch to republican to get Ron Paul on the ballot. If you're a democrat, in most states you will only be able to vote for which DEMOCRAT makes it on the ballot. Once republican, you can vote him onto the ballot, then anyone can vote for him. To find out what's required in your state and how to change your party go to dailypaul dot com/node/207 Spread the word as this fact is critical!

She was correct however that most of the UN nations did not believe that the US should invade Iraq and that they didn't help in the invasion, but it's the fact that the Bush administration used the resolutions against Iraq as an excuse to make the American people believe an invasion was necessary. I am reminded of the movie "Hamburger Hill." In the movie, if you listen very carefully, the Battalion Commander tells the Leutenant that he is "...paid to fight wars, not discuss them." The UN is an organization that discusses wars, and does not fight them, nor does it stop them.

There you go - the UN is really "The League of Extraordinary Nations" So...who is Mr. Hyde, and who is The Invisible Man? 8D (If you aren't familiar with the graphic novel, "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen", at some point Mr. Hyde, err, "dishonors" The Invisble Man)

Just a few hours ago I spoke with Ron Paul's National Campaign Manager, Lew Moore. I understood him to say that donating as much as possible, as soon as possible, is better than stringing the same donation out over a period of time. So donate NOW.

I agree with his statements, but the biggest problem with the UN is that it does not represent the people of the world. It's not a democratic organization, each country gets to appoint a representative. Most countries are dictatorships, and so it should not be a surprize that the UN serves the dictators of the world.

We no longer need a debating chamber, what are they debating anyway? We can organise a virtual UN on the internet for FREE if we really want. If countries want to police the world, fine.
