jtprodj ::: Favorites This is a follow-up comment to phd's comment. I also have a pair of the srm450's by mackie. I really like them and have been very happy with them. They did overheat on me once and didn't take too long to recover. It sucked obviously when they did though. Plenty of power though. The gig I was playing was a large bar event. I probably was cranking them too much anyway! I am going to post a video response to this as soon as I get my videos compressed right! Hope this was helpful! 07-09-27 22:05:12 __________________________________________________

rosen888 ::: Favorites I have two Behringer B215A Powered speakers.. I was one of the first in sweden that got these, and i must say, i have never had any problem with them. they are in the "budget" region of powered speakers, but they are really good, and sounds good to, of course in the right enviroment, i can't play for mor than, say 100 people, but soon i am buying one or two powered bass speakers.. 07-09-02 21:11:32 __________________________________________________
FunkyRob ::: Favorites I've had the same QSC amplifier since 1993 or so. My backup is a cheapo Pyramid fleamarket amp. Both are heavy as hell. The cheapo used to be my main one before that, but I bought the QSC when the cooling fan went out on the Pyramid. Since then, I went to Radio Shack and replaced the stuck fan and I now have 2 functioning amps. The QSC is soo heavy I have to keep it in it's own case. BTW: what is the fork for? 07-08-23 19:31:45 __________________________________________________

IntelInside2020 ::: Favorites I have 2 Eon G2 15s and love them. They have been road tested - they never overheat and sound great. The trick is if you are going to purchase powered speakers do the research and don't skimp because you'll likely get a shoddy product. 07-08-20 21:19:06 __________________________________________________

AlecTricks ::: Favorites 2 years ago I bought a pair RCF 315A powered speakers. The best purchase I ever made. The sound is excellent and powerfull and one speaker weights only about 22 kg. Another advantage of active speakers is that you don´t have to worry about the dependability of your amp. If one powered speaker amp doesn´t work you got another in the second speaker. Okay in this case the sound is mono instead of stereo, but anyway there is still sound. 07-08-20 11:06:21 __________________________________________________ |
