Description:

I'm only putting this video up because there does not seem to be any video on YouTube of Lubavitchers reciting the Yechi (while Schneerson was alive and present, or, in the words of those who believe Schneerson is still alive, while the Rebbe was still within "the limits of corporeal existence"). Anyway, this video is from the famous "770" Synagogue in Crown Heights, Brooklyn (aptly named since it is located at 770 Eastern Parkway, just off Kingston avenue). The attendees are chanting "Yechi adonenu, morenu v'rabbenu, Melekh HaMoshiach la`olam va'ed," which is Hebrew for "Long live our Lord (or Master), Teacher and Rabbi, the King Messiah, for ever and ever." In other words, the people present are endorsing the old man on the balcony as the Messiah and King of the Jews (and most of the people in that video still believe he is such, even after his death).

In my opinion, Schneerson achieved focus all jews can achieve if you connect with god on a truely pure path of good will - for all of jews, and mindkind included. He set a wonderful example of that - in my opionion, all of us should strive to the level of scheneerson!!!!!!!! and turely bring the days of the messiah

I dont think the rebbe, of blessed memory, ever actually thought he was the long awaited Moshiach. If you watch other videos he never really gives any hints about him being the Moshiach. If anybody has anything to say to the contrary please keep your comments clean.

Moshiach IS supposed to be born on the 9th of av, the man in this video, who was nonetheless a great man, WAS born on the 17th of Tammuz. The Rebbe was great man but clearly not Moshiach!

jjbenavraham: Rambam said, "The Messiah will die, and his son and son's son will reign in his stead." The mountebank and obviously impotent Schneerson had no son, thus, he was a false Moshiach. Case closed. You are the one who will pay dearly for ignorance and idolatry.

krizla4 is right, the Rebbe (Yemach shemo) really did have an unsettlingly evil appearance. In this video he looks like a ghoul, something straight out of a Stephen King novel. Very, very creepy man. Thank G-d this false Messiah is rotting in Gehenna.
