NGS712 ::: Favorites Carter was well meaning, but was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Harding wasn't a bad or a great pres., just so-so. Alot of pres. scholars still can't place Nixon as a good or bad pres. because he eased tensions w/ Russia, 1st pres. to visit China, but wasn't good in domestic affairs.
