Description:

Why do people laugh at creationists? (part 1). The only people so stupid as to not understand the answer are the creationists themselves.

Also, the guy who claims he knows chemisty and then refers to it as a stable diatomic makes me worry a bit.

Very nice work thunerf00t, as a chemist I too believe that we need to fight back from these morons.

...no phil If u actually had a phd in chemistry rather than 'asking your dad' you would understand this. A few websites that in order to explain things in idiot proof terms use lax scientific terminology does not mean helium molecules exist any more than 'electron orbit the nucleus'. Wow, gravity in the atom and helium molecules! then things u can discover when u r scientifically illiterate!

... No need to get violent. (Just search helium molecule)

If its monoatomic, it an atom, not a molecule. NO, ABSOLUTELY NOT, HELIUM CANNOT BE SEEN AS A MOLECULE. 'Depend on definition'? WTF? is that the 'definition' your dad pulled out of his ass. Defining helium as a molecule is likes saying an apple is a car, and claiming 'its just a matter of definition'.

I know it's monoatomic. My dad says (:D) it depends on what your definition is. Helium can be seen as a molecule or an atom (without something else).

wiki molecule 'In chemistry, a molecule is defined as a sufficiently stable electrically neutral group of at least TWO atoms in a definite arrangement held together by strong chemical bonds.' Trust me phil, helium is a monoatomic gas, it forms no stable compounds. The site u cite is simply wrong. It should read helium atoms.

err ya, phil, as pointed out below, He is an element, not a molecule.
