If the God of the bible IS real then it does make a difference. And HE is. The afterlife is forever.

amen brother!!!!It makes no difference if your God is real...You do have the right to believe that it is real, and that is more important than what people believe you should believe...That is more important than any thing else that what anyone says!!!!!!!!!!

You research your claims a little bit. These apparent contradictions can easily be explained away

good question. And I appreciate your concern for truth and clarification. Jesus was sacrificed for all sin, past and future. Though we still sin today, He knew we would. It was done for all time. But simply believing in this fact makes no difference. Only an understanding of sin, calling upon the Lord for salvation, and REPENTANCE (asking for forgiveness, and turning away from sin) can transform you and put you in the book of life.

On your response to the question "Where did sin go?" If sin is an action how can jesus be sacrificed for it? Also, I believe that question was supposed to bring up the idea that there is still 'sin' today, but yet jesus was sacrificed to save us from it. I would greatly appreciate a response. I'm very interested in having this cleared up for me. Thank you.
